This Archive Is Not Sponsored. And That’s the Point.
There is Only 1 Truth- The Truth
The Vault Investigates, by @PovertyPimpSlayer & TruthBot‑Zero, presents a six‑part investigative series built from firsthand experience and rigorous research, in collaboration with Anonymous Media Group and The Dirty Dozen Dispatch
Seeds of Fire tracks how “liberation” movements morphed into profit structures, exposing people and systems that monetize poverty across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Philippines through deep, evidence‑based reporting.
Created for Generations X, Y, and Z, the series moves from street‑level reality to receipts and records under one guiding principle: Veritas Unum Est — There is only one truth.
Support independent journalism from The Vault Investigates. This work is self‑funded by a retired, disabled veteran documenting poverty profiteering through original, long‑form investigations; if you value accountability‑driven reporting, even a coffee‑sized contribution helps keep the archive alive for the people who come after us.
WHAT THIS IS
The Vault Investigates documents how poverty became an industry.
Using public records, audits, court filings, and oversight reports, this archive tracks how money moves through governments, NGOs, and intermediaries across:
Puerto Rico
The Philippines
The United States
This work is slow, methodical, and deliberately non-performative.
WHAT THIS IS NOT
This project does not accept:
NGO funding
Corporate sponsorships
Political money
Advertising revenue
No donors dictate coverage.
No sponsors shape conclusions.
If that ever changes, this page will say so.
WHY DONATIONS MATTER
Donations do not fund “content.”
They fund continuity.
Specifically:
Accessing and preserving public records
Building long-term archives
Time spent reading what most won’t
Maintaining independent infrastructure
This archive exists because it is not optimized for virality.
WHAT SUPPORTERS UNLOCK
Supporters help keep the archive alive and unlock:
Full receipt folders (audits, PDFs, timelines)
Early access to investigations
Member-only archive notes
The ability to request document pulls

Really appreciate the transparency here. The distinction between funding continuity vs content is something alot of independent researchers gloss over but its critical for maintaining editorial independence. I've seen too many archives start out with good intentions and then slowly shift their focus based on whoever's writing checks. The poverty industry angle is also something that needs way more scrutiny because the incentive structures basicaly ensure that solving problems becomes secondary to perpetuating funding streams.
